The main house offers 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with two master bedrooms ensuring tranquility. A spacious guest cottage includes its own master bedroom and bath, connected to the main house via a carport for added privacy.
Prepare meals in the modern kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a scenic pass-through window to the enclosed patio. Additional amenities include a large HD television, outdoor gas grill, cable TV, and high-speed internet.
Outside, the expansive backyard beckons with a unique 13 to 15-foot deep saltwater tidal lagoon, perfect for snorkeling and swimming. A 50-foot dock accommodates boats up to 40 feet, with kayaks available for exploring the nearby waters.

Booking Policies:
Minimum Stay: A 7-night minimum stay is required by city regulations, with no exceptions. The city determines the maximum occupancy, and it cannot be exceeded, covering adults, children, and infants.
Cancellation Policy: We maintain a strict 60-day cancellation policy. If the cancellation is made at least 60 days before the arrival date, you can cancel your reservation and receive a full refund, excluding processing and admin fees. If you cancel within 60 days of the arrival date and we are able to secure another booking for the same time by opening the calendar, you will receive a full refund, minus processing and admin fees. If we are unable to secure another rental for the specified time, the deposit will be the only amount refunded.
Contract: Upon confirmation of your booking by our office, you will receive an Adobe E-Sign contract for signing. Once signed, the contract will be automatically returned to us.
Payment Options: The total reservation charges include credit card processing fees by default. We are happy to accept checks or EFT bank payments with no additional fees, and in those cases, the processing fees can be removed from your total once you confirm your preferred payment method. Credit card payments are subject to the following fees:
– Visa, MasterCard, and Discover incur a 3.5% processing fee (excluding taxes and deposit)
– American Express incurs an additional 0.99% fee (excluding taxes and deposit)

We had a wonderful time at the Flipper Lagoon House. The location is perfect. The house is great. We loved the back patio and the tiki hut near the pool. The tiki hut by the water is a fun place to have an appetizer and watch the sunset. The dock was perfect for our boat.

This was a whole family special package. The pool for the kids and adults, sunbathing , the lagoon for the boys 11 and 8 was an endless activity on a daily basis. Fishing from the pier for my son was a dawn to dusk was a daily relaxing time. The house was comfortable for all 7 of us to be together in the open concept living, dining and kitchen area.

The Lagoon house was fantastic place for our adult family reunion. The huge yard and multiple outdoor seating areas were great for relaxing with coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. The kitchen, living room, and screened porch comprised a huge common area that was great for hanging out together and for family meals. Having all the recreational equipment provided was super convenient, so we didn’t have to worry about renting bikes, kayaks, pool floats, snorkel gear, etc. The boat dock was more than large enough to accommodate the 24 ft boat we had with us and the water is deep enough even at low tide to have easy access. The house is mid-way between Vaca Cut and the 7-mile bridge, which made it easy to get anywhere by boat or by car. We’ve been coming to the keys for decades and this house is a perfect combination of old Keys charm with modern amenities. Would definitely recommend!

This house was a fantastic place for the 5 of us. The back yard has an amazing view of the ocean and great amenities if you’re into fishing like a private dock and a fish cleaning station. We caught Mangrove Snappers, Grouper, Nurse Sharks and a Tarpon all from the dock. The rooms are big, the kitchen is great, and the staff was fantastic to work with. I will definitely be staying there again.

The property was everything it was described to be. The water views are absolutely beautiful. Shining a light in the lagoon at night, showed all the activity that takes place there. We counted 3 lobster walking around. The accommodations were excellent. The property description and photos were everything as described.

We stayed at this home in Marathon for the 12th year, and it never disappoints. It is the most beautiful location, with a pool, lagoon, and access to the Gulf of Mexico in your own backyard. The property is large enough that three generations can enjoy their time together but also have their own space. The new management was so friendly and responsive, and when questions arose, they responded extremely promptly and helpfully. I can’t think of a single negative thing to say. We have enjoyed this property for years and hope to do so for years to come!
