Gulf Breezes, a beautifully remodeled ground-level home, is ideal for the whole family. Take advantage of the convenient kayak launch at the property to explore the crystal-clear Gulf waters and enjoy some fishing right from the water's edge. Nestled in a peaceful neighborhood with a nature preserve adjacent, this home provides the perfect tranquil retreat.

Nearby, you'll find two public beaches and a state park. Coco Plum is just a 6-minute drive away, Sombrero Beach is a 15-minute drive, and Curry Hammock State Park is a mere 10 minutes from the home.
Please be aware that being directly on the Gulf Waters means that we have no control over the winds and seaweed that may be present depending on the time of year. This can change daily with high and low tides.
Kindly note that this home does not permit pets.
Booking Policies:
Minimum Stay: A 7-night minimum stay is required by city regulations, with no exceptions. The city determines the maximum occupancy, and it cannot be exceeded, covering adults, children, and infants.
From November - April, there is an additional $150 charge/week for pool heat. We do recommend heating the pool during this time for optimal comfort and enjoyment. You may contact us if you do not want to have the pool heat on, for a $150 discount.
Cancellation Policy: We maintain a strict 60-day cancellation policy. If the cancellation is made at least 60 days before the arrival date you can cancel your reservation and receive a full refund, excluding processing and admin fees. If you cancel within 60 days of the arrival date and we are able to secure another booking for the same time by opening the calendar, you will receive a full refund, minus processing and admin fees. If we are unable to secure another rental for the specified time, the deposit will be the only amount refunded.
Contract: Upon confirmation of your booking by our office, you will receive an Adobe E-Sign contract for signing. Once signed, the contract will be automatically returned to us.

Our vacation was fantastic! The house was beautiful, comfortable, updated and clean. So many extras in the kitchen and supplies to go to the beach, they had it all. The pool was clean and overlooked our million-dollar view of the Gulf!! We saw small sharks in the water as well as plenty of fish and a turtle swimming around. There were iguanas on the property that wanted to share the pool for a drink. We did have to shoo them away and a few times in the morning, we needed to clean up their "calling card" at the edge of the pool. Ceiling fans would have been nice on the back porch, but we found portable fans to move some air around in the hot July weather. This house, pool and having the Gulf as our backyard made our week in Marathon a memory maker for all three of us!

From beginning to end our vacation experience was wonderful. The rental location was incredible, and pictures of the home and property are accurate. Beautiful view from early morning thru sunset. The pool and hot tub made it our own private resort. The home was clean and kitchen was well equipped for cooking (walkable to Frank's Grill if you don't want to cook - delicious and friendly service). Quiet location especially at night (there is an airport close by so planes, jets and helicopters are active during the day). Keys Ocean Vacation Rentals was great in communicating and answering any concerns or questions. So much to see and do in Marathon! Loved our private oasis and would stay here again.

The house was gorgeous, perfect set up for two couples. The pool and hot tub were perfect for lounging and taking in the incredible view of the gulf. Every afternoon when the tide changes, the manatees would start coming in and you would see 3-5 of them out swimming. Weeds did wash up, but that’s ocean life and it didn’t downgrade our experience.

The views from this property was outstanding. The house layout works well for 2 couples as the bedrooms are separated by the living area. The house was clean and well stocked. The area was quiet and private. The only area for improvement would be the outside of the property. Since the property is located on the bay there is trash in the water and the kayak launch area. I would suggest property management could have it picked up prior to guest arrival. While we were there we did daily pickup with the kayak only a few pieces each day. This would not be a game changer for a return visit in the future.

We had an outstanding experience at Gulf Breezes. The property is beautiful, private, well maintained and spotless. The property management team is also superb. While we were there they reset the hot tub after a large storm and they replaced the refrigerator which was not cooling properly. The salt-water pool, which is divine, was regularly cleaned and refreshed as well. And the views from nearly every room are unparalleled. I highly recommend a stay at Gulf Breezes. We travel a lot and rarely do we have the desire to ‘never leave’ - but that is what we felt when packing up after our two weeks at this lovely home.

The property's location is out of this world and the view is outstanding!
Beware of the iguanas, they poop around the pool. To stop this put freesbies filled with water at the base of their tree.
The property is a little tired but the views are what you pay for.

We had a great experience in this rental. The house was very clean and well stocked when we arrived. Large containers of hand soap, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided.
The pool is the highlight of this property. The view can't be beat. The pool has a large ledge, so it's perfect for small children to splash.
Make sure to read the material provided by management, esp. the quirks of the house. We overlooked that the guest bath is plumbed backwards, so we thought it wasn't getting hot water. We contacted the property manager to let them know of a few minor issues, and they were very responsive.
I would rent this house again without hesitation.

The house was nice and having the pool outside the door was great for the grandkids. The pool having the baby area was great. The biggest downfall is being near the airport, Constant plane take offs all day began to be annoying.

This was my first visit to the Keys and this rental did not disappoint! It was truly a slice of paradise! It was very private with an amazing view. The property has many amenities to offer. We spent a lot of time in the pool and hot tub. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and wildlife-watching right from the home. It is within driving distance of many things to do in Marathon and a fun day trip to Key West. The house was clean and comfortable and equipped with everything needed. We had so much fun! I would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

We had an amazing time at this fabulous home. The home was clean and had everything we needed. Our party of 6 spent much time relaxing at the pool and hot tub. We also caught some fish off the shore and also spotted a stingray and nurse shark. Highly recommend a fishing charter and snorkeling excursion. The gulf view is pristine and relaxing and quiet. The house and lot are very private.

The sea grass smell was not an issue for us, we smelled it a few times, but it eventually dissipated and went away, it was not a hinderance or problem for 's nature.
There was quite a buildup of dried sea grass in the boat ramp that we maneuvered around to kayak, that could be addressed.

We really enjoyed our time in this home. Comfortable, relaxing and cool.
The home is very well appointed.
Nice large kitchen with all the cooking implements anyone could need/use.
TVs/Ceiling fans in every bedroom.
Provided kayaks, bikes, beach supplies (chairs, umbrellas & towels).
The gulf view is pristine and relaxing and quiet. The house and lot are very private.
Beautiful and clean pool and hot tub.
Outdoor furniture is brand new and well thought out and comfortable.
The sea grass smell was not an issue for us, we smelled it a few times, but it eventually dissipated and went away, it was not a hinderance or problem for 's nature.
There was quite a buildup of dried sea grass in the boat ramp that we maneuvered around to kayak, that could be addressed.
Overall, a very nice property and house that we feel fortunate to have found and were able to rent. We want to recognize and thank Mallory and her team at Keys Ocean Vacation Rentals for their quick responses, actions and excellent customer service.

We had so much fun. First time to the keys and it won't be the last, we did everything from fishing to snorkeling, went to sombrero beach and key west, kayaking right from the house and of course the local cuisine. The house was perfect, exactly what we were looking for. The house is clean and well kept, quiet environment. The local wildlife, land and sea, were entertaining. Would recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

Excellent location with a fabulous view. Great management team with a special shout out to Mallory! Property was spotless well appointed and very comfortable. Basically has everything one needs plus many items not usually provided. Does however need a few minor touches here and there. Towel rack in guest bath was missing. Towel rack in master bath needs attention as well. Travertine tiles around pool are un-level and do present a tripping hazard. Nonetheless this is a fabulous home and we have plans on returning at some point.

The home was in a great location, easy to get anywhere. We enjoyed the home. The home was clean and comfortable. Unfotunately, while we were there, there was a build up of seaweed which caused a very unpleasant odor during much of our stay.

The property is outstanding and perfect for a family. The interior is completely updated in pleasant beach pastels and is very clean. The views of the Gulf of Mexico are gorgeous and the pool adds a nice touch. The rooms are updated and well appointed. One minor
Negative- occasionally with certain conditions there can be an odor coming off the sea grass adjacent to the property’s sea wall. I understand this is common in the Gulf of Mexico. I would rent again!

Property was just as described, beautiful and clean house. View is breathtaking. Rental company is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed taking the kayaks out daily. Pool and hot tub was great. Location was great. Only thing we didn't like was the sea grass that had piled up against sea wall. Sea grass was really bad when we stayed. Odor from it was bad depending how wind was blowing but it was mentioned in property description. We had a great week!

We had a wonderful time at this property! Stayed for 2 weeks in February, wish it was longer! The home is very well appointed and very clean. Mallory took very good care of us when we had a faulty coffeemaker - super responsive. The pool and hot tub were our favorite part of the property and we spent hours just floating in the pool each day. Highly recommend this home!!

This home is a wonderful vacation place. My daughter made the comment that it was “just like home.” They thought of everything we might need. The location is amazing. We were able to walk or bike to many places; we didn’t even have to use our car!! We would highly recommend it and we have already booked two weeks for next year.

Incredible view. We could sit there all day and night, but had to go do some activities to mix it up. The house is perfect for 2-3 couples. Kitchen is fantastic, and all the necessary amenities are included. We made some use of the kayaks....very calm bay. We rented a boat for a few days from Keyz Boats right across the street at Captain Hooks. All good people and very helpful. The location is perfect. We took short walks in morning to Marathon Bagel, and longer walks over to Island Fish Co. Some days the weather isn't going to be great out on the water (with rain or high winds), so having a beautiful covered patio in the back is definitely the place to be. Lawn and pool very well manicured. Pool was cleaned twice while we were there for a week. Lawn crew came, as well. Lots of upkeep on a home on the water, and they definitely take are of it. Going back again soon.

We loved our vacation. The place was amazing, exactly described. The place has everything you need. Loved the amenities - the kayaks and bikes were a bonus. There was mention of a paddle board, we could not find it.
Location was perfect, private. Saw many manatees,swimming in the cove and iguanas. Caught fish right off the sea wall.
My one complaint was the workings of the hot tub. When we got there, the hot tub was not pushing out any bubbles and water wasn’t circulating very well. when I called the management company they responded right away and they sent a pool company out the next day to fix it which they did come and it worked a little bit better. I was told that the hot tub was just a hot tub and not a jacuzzi hot tub. The pool company told us the aeration feature was controlled from inside panel. Later in week another pool company came and told us the aeration feature was broken. Can’t wait to come back next year

We enjoyed our stay at Gulf Breezes but the home sleeps 6 and there were only 2 chairs on the lanai other than the 2 bar chars. We ended up using fold up chairs we brought along. There were not enough dishes so had to run the dishwasher after every meal whether it was full or not.

The home is exactly as pictured. Completely updated and and beautiful. Very private. The location is close to attractions, shops/grocery and amazing restaurants. We loved being in Marathon. The drive to Key West is beautiful as well. We ran into a couple minor issues with the rental that were taken care of immediately and the rental company was easy to communicate with. My only issue would be that these things could have and should have been checked before renters arrived. It seems as though a thurough walk through prior may not have been done. Also, clear pool/sauna instructions left out for guests would be helpful as well as a full length mirror and trash can in both bathrooms. Just minor conveniences that can make a difference. Even with these few things, we would stay here again and the property manager was easy to work with. We were sad to leave.

What a great property. This was our 3rd year staying here and is our favorite vacation of the year. Since last year they have redone the hot tub and it is beautiful. The property is very well maintained and has everything you need for a great stay. There are even four kayaks to use for exploring the water right in front of the property.
